Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 1

Buenos Aires – Arrive in the “Paris of South America”

A private vehicle will transfer you from the airport to your accommodation. You tour begins with a ‘Welcome meeting’ by our Experience Manager, also your personal concierge for this journey who will provide you with her phone or WhatsApp contact where you can reach her 24/7 throughout the tour. She will take care of all the details during your honeymoon and answer all your queries to make your trip a once in a lifetime experience.

Spend the morning tracing the steps of Evita across this magnificent city, including the Evita Museum where you’ll discover Buenos Aires gourmet cuisine. Put your rhythm at test by visiting the San Telmo and La Boca – locally known as the ‘tango neighborhoods’. You can learn the Fileteado Porteño technique from a local artist.

From Buenos Aires to El Calafate, Patagonia.

Today we will transfer you to Buenos Aires airport to take your flight to El Calafate. Trip to the Grand Glaciers of Patagonia, visit the stunning glaciers of Southern Patagonia, including the world-famous Perito Moreno Glacier.

El Calafate is one of the most popular destinations in Patagonia, the gateway to a spectacular section of Los Glaciares National Park.

Mini Trekking on the Glacier: Be dazzled by the Perito Moreno Glacier & navigate the Témpanos Channel

Minitrekking over the Perito Moreno Glacier: exilarating beautiful and unforgetable once in a lifetime experience.

Visit the astonishing Perito Moreno Glacier. The journey itself is really attractive since you can appreciate the unique Patagonia landscapes alongside the Andes foothills. The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National Park and was declared Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

After being met at your El Calafate hotel, you’ll be transferred to Bajo de las Sombras port for your 20-minute sail to the glacier. Once you arrive at Perito Moreno Glacier, your expert guides will instruct you on the proper use of special winter hiking equipment, including crampons and ice axes. Once you’re all geared up, make your way along Rico Arm towards the glacier itself. During the trek across Perito Moreno, your local guide will tell your group about the history and formation of the glacier. Surrounded by an otherworldly, white-on-white landscape, listen to the sound of your crampons crunching ice and feel the steam of your own breath. After a brief forest trek, you’ll be picked up by bus and deposited at the glacier’s most spectacular overlook, where spend an hour of free time to relaxing, enjoying the scenery and snapping some photos before heading back to your El Calafate hotel

Kayak experience in the Perito Moreno Glacier

Appreciate the beauty of the towering Perito Moreno Glacier, at water level, by kayak. Get ready for a Fascinating and fun experience!

The glacier is itself an extraordinary site, but the snow peaked mountains in its surroundings makes it an inspiring place of unimaginable beauty! Enjoy breathtaking views of the glacier like no other and Feel like an explorer wearing your thermal and dry suit, to keep you warm and dry! No Previous kayak experience is required.

From El Calafate to Buenos Aires. From Glaciers to Tango.

Transfer to El Calafate airport. Reception at Buenos Aires domestic airport (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery) and transfer to your hotel.

In evening enjoy a well-deserved moment of rejuvenation and relaxation with a a massage for two.

Buenos Aires Estancia and Polo day

Be a polo player and enjoy a traditional estancia for a day. Learn the secrets of one of the most exclusive sports in the world.

Play polo and enjoy a deliciuos bbq with the original argentinian way and the best wines

You begin the day with an informative talk about polo and its ponies while you taste some delicious empanadas and excellent argentine wine.

You will visit the pony line to observe the polo horses that will be playing the polo match and our guide will explain you how polo horses are selected for the sport, their blood lineages and how they are trained.

You will learn also about the rules of the game, the equipment used by the polo horse and the player and the different shooting techniques.

You will attend a professional live polo match of 4 chukkas. With more than 30 horses in play, you will enjoy a fast paced polo game of pure adrenaline.

Lunchtime is part of this incredible Estancia Argentina Experience, a complete barbeque that includes “asado”, a grilled selection of meat and beef, accompanied by premium argentine wines. You will have the unique opportunity to try our delicious regional food.

After spending some time walking through our beautiful countryside, you will take a polo lesson where you will learn to ride a horse, hold the mallet and hit the ball. Believe it! You will end up sharing a mini polo match that will make you feel like a professional player!

At the end of the day, you will have a relaxing horse ride through out our curated trails specially designed for you to enjoy the campo argentino and its surroundings.

It is not necessary to know how to ride a horse, nor do you have to have previous experience in polo.

Visit Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay

Today you will head to Uruguay. Be ready to enjoy a ‘not made for tourists’ moments on your South American honeymoon.

Exploring the cobblestone streets of beautiful Colonia

At the scheduled time a driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the port to take your ferry to Uruguayan city of Colonia del Sacramento. After a short one hour ferry you will arrive to this beautiful small colonial town.

During the day enjoy a private guided walk through the historical downtown, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and taste local wines, cheese and homemade desserts at a charming little place called El Buen Suspiro.

Highlights during your stay in Colonia:

  1. Visit The Church Matriz: Considered the oldest church in Uruguay, also known as the Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento.

  2. Climb the old lighthouse “El Faro”. The lighthouse was built in 1857 and you can get beautiful views over the city and the Río de la Plata.

  3. Enjoy the sunset at the “Puerto Viejo”, the old Harbour.

Some Culinary tips:

  1. Try a Chivito, a traditional Uruguayan dish, which consists of beef, egg (fried or boiled, depends on the restaurant), ham, cheese generally served on bread.

  2. Taste the delicious Uruguayan cheese with a glass of local Tannat wine.

From Buenos Aires to Iguazú. Get to know one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Today, you will head to Iguazu Falls on a domestic flight . Reception at Puerto Iguazú airport (Argentina) and transfer to hotel.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 9

Iguazú Falls Argentine side, one of the most amazing places in the world.

After breakfast, you will depart on a full-day tour of the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls

Visit one of the most beautiful places in the planet! The spectacular Iguazú Falls.

Begin with a quiet journey through the jungle in the picturesque Ecological train, and visit the famous Garganta del Diablo (Devil´s throat). Travel through a long walkway until reaching the viewpoint of the gorge which offers a unique and unforgettable scene. Afterwards, visit of both the upper and lower walkways, to enjoy and live the waterfalls.

  1. Optional Tour: We suggest adding The Great Adventure that includes a truck ride through the jungle and a navigation that will take you very close to the waterfalls. Prepare yourself to get wet!

Iguazú Falls Brazilian side.

After breakfast, we will take you on a half day trip to the Brazilian Falls. Even great part of the waterfalls are on the Argentine side, great panoramic views are seen from the Brazilian side.
