However, their quality has been increasing from the last decades of the twentieth century, with the opening of trade links between local wine companies and French and American vineyards and winemakers. Since then, several Chilean wines have climbed positions to be among the best in the world. On the other hand Chile local cuisine is the combination of the powerful indigenous tradition and its encounter with the Spaniards and French cuisine. Currently, Chile is a country open to the world, with a great international cuisine but with the main aim of rescuing the local products and, above all, the sea food and fish of the Pacific Ocean. DAY 1: Santiago de Chile Visit.

Arrival in Santiago de Chile and private transfer to your hotel. Visit the main attractions and different areas and neighbourhoods of Santiago. By night enjoy a gourmet dinner at Osadia Restaurant.

DAY 2: Culinary experience.

Visit La Vega and the Historic Central Market to pick up the ingredients that will be needed in this culinary experience. At El Galeon Restaurant, savour a pisco sour while Jimmy Valdez Cheff leads the cooking lesson that will introduce you to the typical Chilean dishes. Enjoy an amazing lunch.

DAY 3: Casablanca Valley wines.

Travel to Casablanca Valley, 75 km away from Santiago, and visit the Matetic vineyards. Learn about the winemaking process, bottling and storage of wine. Taste two premium wines from the Corralillo line and lunch in the vineyard. Continue to Isla Negra, where you’ll visit the museum house of Pablo Neruda.

DAY 4: Colchagua Valley & its wines.

Heading to the south of Santiago enjoy great views of vineyards and fruit lands to finally reach the area of Colchagua Valley and visit Santa Cruz vineyard, a renowned vineyard who has won several awards in recent years. After visiting the place and a wine tasting, we’ll have lunch at the small town of Santa Cruz and visit the area. Dinner at Hotel Viña.

DAY 4: Colchagua Valley & its wines.

Day to enjoy and relax in the facilities of Viña Vik hotel and vineyard; and transfer to the Airport of Santiago.
