CULTURAL CUSCO

The Experience: Cusco is and will be a cultural capital. It was so in the days of the Empire as it now one of the most important cities in the region. A great city for those lovers of history and man destiny. Cusco is not just an archaeological city for its ruins but also is its people and their customs, a rich mixture of the old Europe and the new continent. What can you find in Cusco? Colours, kindness, joy, and an infinite variety of uses and customs, clothes and dances, and folk art cusqueño. The skill of their spinners is amazing as well as the clay sculptures, which transmits the Andean worldview mixed with the vision of the Western world. This Syncretism that occurred more than 500 years ago, is palpable in Cusco. Simply walk the streets and see the architecture which shows the fusion of two diametrically opposed cultures. The churches of Cusco corroborate this view. We invite you to discover an amazing city rich in culture and history!
