A very diverse and complete trip to enjoy the adventure of the glaciers, the vibrant city of Buenos Aires and the wonderful Iguazú Falls. End your journey relaxing at a fascinating Brazilian beach.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 1:

Buenos Aires; arrival and tour around La Boca, San Telmo, Recoleta Cemetery and Plaza de Mayo. Lunch at a closed door restaurant and discover Buenos Aires gourmet cuisine.

Reception at Ezeiza International Airport (Ministro Pistarini) and transfer to your hotel.
Visit the City of Buenos Aires to discover the most picturesque and traditional neighborhoods, the traces of immigration, the history of tango and folklore, the cattle culture, the football passion and more. Among the many places to visit, the tour includes the traditional Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings that witnessed the founding of Buenos Aires; the neighborhoods of San Telmo and La Boca, with its famous Caminito street. Tour continues along Recoleta and Retiro.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 2:

 From Buenos Aires to El Calafate, Patagonia. 

Trip to the Grand Glaciers of Patagonia.
Transfer to Buenos Aires domestic airport (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery). Reception at El Calafate airport and transfer to your hotel.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 3: Minitrekking on the Glacier: Be dazzled by the Perito Moreno Glacier & navigate the Témpanos Channel.

Visit the astonishing Perito Moreno Glacier. The journey itself is really attractive since you can appreciate the unique Patagonia landscapes alongside the Andes foothills. 
The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National Park and was declared Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
After being met at your El Calafate hotel, you’ll be transferred to Bajo de las Sombras port for your 20-minute sail to the glacier. Once you arrive at Perito Moreno Glacier, your expert guides will instruct you on the proper use of special winter hiking equipment, including crampons and ice axes. Once you’re all geared up, make your way along Rico Arm towards the glacier itself. During the trek across Perito Moreno, your local guide will tell your group about the history and formation of the glacier. Surrounded by an otherworldly, white-on-white landscape, listen to the sound of your crampons crunching ice and feel the steam of your own breath. After a brief forest trek, you’ll be picked up by bus and deposited at the glacier’s most spectacular overlook, where spend an hour of free time to relaxing, enjoying the scenery and snapping some photos before heading back to your El Calafate hotel.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 4: El Calafate. Kayak experience in the Perito Moreno Glacier

Appreciate the beauty of the towering Perito Moreno Glacier, at water level, by kayak. This is the first time that kayak access has been granted in this highly protected area, and with a fantastic team of expert guides.

The glacier is itself an extraordinary site, but the snow peaked mountains in its surroundings makes it an inspiring place of unimaginable beauty! No previous kayak experience is required. Feel like an explorer wearing your thermal and dry suit, to keep you warm and dry!

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 5: From El Calafate to Buenos Aires. From Glaciers to Tango.

Transfer to El Calafate airport. Reception at Buenos Aires domestic airport (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery) and transfer to your hotel.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 6: Buenos Aires Estancia and Polo day

Be a polo player and enjoy a traditional estancia for a day. Learn the secrets of one of the most exclusive sports in the world.

You begin the day with an informative talk about polo and its ponies while you taste some delicious empanadas and excellent argentine wine.

You will visit the pony line to observe the polo horses that will be playing the polo match and our guide will explain you how polo horses are selected for the sport, their blood lineages and how they are trained.

You will learn also about the rules of the game, the equipment used by the polo horse and the player and the different shooting techniques.

You will attend a professional live polo match of 4 chukkas. With more than 30 horses in play, you will enjoy a fast paced polo game of pure adrenaline.

Lunchtime is part of this incredible Estancia Argentina Experience, a complete barbeque that includes “asado”, a grilled selection of meat and beef, accompanied by premium argentine wines. You will have the unique opportunity to try our delicious regional food.

After spending some time walking through our beautiful countryside, you will take a polo lesson where you will learn to ride a horse, hold the mallet and hit the ball. Believe it! You will end up sharing a mini polo match that will make you feel like a professional player!

At the end of the day, you will have a relaxing horse ride through out our curated trails specially designed for you to enjoy the campo argentino and its surroundings.

It is not necessary to know how to ride a horse, nor do you have to have previous experience in polo.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 7: Visit Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay

An hour’s ferry ride brings you to the beautiful Uruguayan city of Colonia del Sacramento. A short private transfer gets you to the loveliest hotel in town. During the day enjoy a private guided walk through the historical downtown, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and taste local wines, cheese and homemade desserts at a charming little place called El Buen Suspiro.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 8: From Buenos Aires to Iguazú. Get to know one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Transfer to Buenos Aires domestic airport (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery). Reception at Puerto Iguazú airport (Argentina) and transfer to hotel.

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 9: Iguazú Falls Argentine side, one of the most amazing places in the world.

Visit one of the most beautiful places in the planet! The spectacular Iguazú Falls. Begin with a quiet journey through the jungle in the picturesque Ecological train, and visit the famous Garganta del Diablo (Devil´s throat). Travel through a long walkway until reaching the viewpoint of the gorge which offers a unique and unforgettable scene. Afterwards, visit of both the upper and lower walkways, to enjoy and live the waterfalls.

* Optional Tour: We suggest adding The Great Adventure that includes a truck ride through the jungle and a navigation that will take you very close to the waterfalls. Prepare yourself to get wet!

Honeymoon to South America itinerary Day 11 to 15: Relax at a Brazilian beach:  “Buzios”.

Includes transfer to and from Rio de Janeiro airport.
Buzios is located 180 Km. north of Rio de Janeiro. It has 23 different beaches, some with calm waters others, with big wave’s ideal for surfing, others very wide, and others shaped as small bays. The most well known are: Azeda, Azedinha, Geribá, Da Ferradura, Joao Fernandes, Joao Fernandinho, Ossos, Tartaruga, Manguinhos, Brava, Olho de Boi (nudist beach). All of them have warm and crystalline waters. 
Originally settled by European pirates and slave traders, this happy mixture of many bloods prospered and became a picturesque fishing village, elected one of the 10 most beautiful areas in the world, famous for its unique combination of rustic charm, architectural harmony, incredible beauty and sophisticated boutiques and restaurants frequented by discerning visitors who come from all over the world to savor its magic.
