YOUR TRIP INCLUDES

PAYMENT CONDITIONS
Reservations must be confirmed by paying 30% of the cost of the program. The trip’s balance must be cancelled 60 days before its beginning. In case the booking is made with 60 days or less than 60 days of the beginning of the trip it, the total cost must be paid.
In particular cases consider as non-traditional tourism such as cruises, expeditions, etc. bookings must be confirmed by paying a percentage that can vary between 40% and 50% of the total price of the program, and it will be indicated at the invoice.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
If you cancel your tour, the following cancellation penalties (expressed as percentages of the total tour price) will apply. In great part for this reason, we strongly recommend you obtain travel insurance.
All cancellations must be made with written notice and the following penalties will be applied once received:
>Between 60 and 41 days prior the beginning of the services, 60%
>Between 40 and 31 days prior the beginning of the services, 80%
>Between 30 and 0 days prior the beginning of the services, 100%
- The deposit of 30% of the trip has no refund.
- The penalty percentage refer to the 100% of the travel program.
- In special occasions such as long weekends, Holy Week, high season, Christmas and New Year, independently of the anticipation of the services cancellation, there will be no refundable amounts.
- Once the trip has started there will be no refund.These policies does not apply for flights, cruises, expeditions or any program considered nonconventional tourism (see “Special conditions”).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
The tour price does not include travel insurance.
We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance, and consider the purchase of “cancel for any reason” coverage. Included in the policy should be coverage for all air travel, trip cancellation/interruption, baggage, accident/life, medical expenses, air ambulance, loss of effects, and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience occurring to you.You agree to assume all costs of medical care and transportation that is provided to you, and any minors traveling with you, during the tour.
Please note that most companies offering travel insurance require the policy to be purchased within 14 days of the initial trip deposit or payment in order to cover pre-existing conditions or to provide for “cancel for any reason” coverage. Fortunately, nowadays more and more travel insurance providers offer pandemic coverage, and most companies provide at least some degree of coverage for potential Covid-related issues.
Please note that in many cases it is not possible to obtain refunds from suppliers once we have forwarded deposits for your tour to them. Any refund under this section will be less our itinerary design fee or itinerary planning fee , and any and all non-refundable deposits and cancellation fees that we have paid to suppliers and other third parties to provide components of your tour.
PASSPORTS, VISAS, ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
It is your responsibility to obtain valid and effective documentation, including passports, visas, permits, and vaccinations, where necessary. You also assume complete and full responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements to enter each country you will visit, including day visits such as the Brazilian falls excursion in Iguazú.
You are solely responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from missing or defective documentation.All travelers, regardless of the holder’s passport, must check with the consulates of the countries being visited to determine if a visa is required for their nationality.
Please check requirements carefully, as many countries require passports to have at least 6 months remaining validity from the date of return, and at least 2 blank pages.
IMPORTANT NOTES
> Hotels will be definitely confirmed once the first payment is done. Suggested hotels may be replaced with similar options in case there is no availability.
>The airline fares are only guaranteed with the ticket issuing. Please confirm with your credit card if you have the necessary limit and it is authorized for this payment.
> Across Argentina & South America will review each cancellation in good faith and will be flexible, whenever possible, with the cancellation penalties, in collaboration with the contracted hotels and providers.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Flights
Date changes depend on the penalty and availability that each airline applies. Refunds depend on the airlines conditions. Rescheduled times by the airline cannot be changed by Across Argentina / South America.
Cruises
Cancellations policies will be advised in each particular case. The Cruise Company has the right to cancel any of its departures. In that case, the cost will be refunded to the passenger.
SPECIAL COVID TERMS & CONDITIONS
Flexible Rescheduling
What if you plan now, but travel cannot commence due to government border restrictions relating to Covid-19?
Obviously we hope this doesn’t happen, but to make things as painless as possible we offer a flexible rescheduling policy.
Payments are non refundable. We offer a Flexible Rescheduling policy. You can postponed trip within 1 year of your original trip dates.
Unless otherwise specified, if a disruption caused by Covid-19 prevents you from being able to take your trip, we will offer the maximum flexibility possible to enable you to reschedule your trip to a later date via a travel credit equal to the monies already paid to us, less any and all fees imposed by suppliers and other third parties providing components of your tour. If you cancel, as opposed to rescheduling, our cancellation regular cancelation terms and conditions will apply. A decision by you not to travel due to governmental warnings or advisories, fear of travel, or the like will be deemed a cancellation.
No Rescheduling Fee.
There is no fee to reschedule. Your entire deposit is fully transferable to your new dates. We do require a minimum 30 days’ notice prior to your trip’s start date to guarantee the above. This enables us to give your guides, accommodations, and other service providers advance notice. In rare cases there may be a unique service with a less flexible policy, in which case we’ll let you know before you book.
We would be remiss not to mention that we can’t guarantee rates won’t change between your original and rescheduled trips, as pricing for services (particularly accommodations) can vary depending on the season and even day of the week, not to mention from year to year due to external factors like inflation and exchange rates.
But would work on behalf of our clients, and if needed try to adjust your new trip around your budget.
Finally, it’s worth noting that if you need to change your travel plans with us for any reason other than government border restrictions relating to Covid-19 preventing travel from commencing, our regular Booking Terms and Conditions would apply depending on when you decide (whether you’re postponing or canceling altogether).
THE FIRST PAYMENT OF THE TRIP IMPLIES THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE DATES OF PAYMENT, CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES.
